QUERCUS - Quality Urban Environments for River Corridor Users and Stakeholders - is a project financed by the European Commission’s environmental fund, through EU LIFE.
Each city in the partnership between the London Borough of Lewisham, Chester City Council in NW England and ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands features a river corridor with similar problems but of varying size, environmental and social characteristics.
The QUERCUS project aims to make these rivers an attractive feature of each urban environment.
