To be accepted by Friends across the UK, the Quaker marque had to be both strong and flexible. It had to accommodate variations in the names for various aspects of the Quakers work, local meeting names and be relevant for the work of Welsh Quakers as well.

Our circular and elemental marque was designed to form a Q and a C, as Crynwyr is the welsh name for Quakers.
