The first test of our proposed signage system for Friends House was paper based. Feedback from this led to some more refinements before it was decided to do a further trial over a longer period with more durable material.
Critical crowd
Signs were printed and mounted onto foam board and installed throughout the building. This approach offered a respectable stop-gap, and a useful testing ground, when over 1000 Quakers descended on Friends House over a four day period for British Yearly Meeting.
