Stakeholder impact
As a result of discussions with stakeholders and continued project development, a number of changes to the Crossrail project were identified. Some of these changes would have the effect of extending the scope of the Bill.
Legal precedent
In the process of a parliamentary Bill such changes to the project can be made by adding what is known as, Amendment of Provisions. This may also require some further environmental assessment work to be carried out and published.
