Two way street
Plans for new ticket halls and improved interchange facilities for Whitechapel station were originally presented as part of the Crossrail Bill submitted to Parliament in February 2005.
Following consultation, Crossrail further developed the proposals and presented them again to the public at a special Information Centre in Whitechapel in September 2005.
