Harry Potter audio products, as well as the celebrated books, are already cleverly packaged in versions for children and adults to capture the interest of both audiences.

Material cost

There are seven books in the Harry Potter series, and with audio products having a relatively high retail price already, the overall cost soon piles up. For a publisher there’s also a substantial payout in packaging materials for CD and cassettes.

Over the years we have helped to extend the reach of Harry Potter audio through reinventing packaging solutions. As the number of books and the length of each read has increased, the solutions we have suggested have grown in size and inventiveness. Consumer demand in the switch from cassette to CD has also influenced design.
