Hoop Associates: a creative business that helps visionary organisations communicate

All inclusive

Accessibility was of great importance to Quakers in coming to a signage solution for Friends House.

Many visitors to Friends House have accessibility issues and many organisations that let rooms have access requirements too.

Tactile approach

We worked with Ann Gardiner of Tactility to develop tactile maps of the building and we included braille and large print panels on our door signs to allow partially sighted visitors to locate the correct room in the building.

User centred

Door signs were positioned logically and consistently around the building, used large legible type for clarity and symbols where appropriate.
