In the beginning
In spring 2005 we took a call from the The Religious Society of Friends in Britain - more commonly known as the Quakers. A review was under way looking into how they communicate, what strengths and weaknesses existed in their visual identity and how the design of their literature could be improved? Were we interested? Too right!
Capturing the zeitgeist
The call really captured our imagination. We detected a distinct shift in the zeitgeist and sensed that perhaps the time had come for faith based on tolerance, respect and quiet effective action.
Expansive thinking
We were appointed in Summer 2005 and have since worked closely with staff and members to arrive at a new visual identity and literature system that is easy to use and captures the true Quaker values. And work continues as the brief expands, encompassing wayfinding, exhibitions and environmental branding.
