Following major engineering projects of the past, Crossrail have commissioned artists to record varying aspects of the project. These have included stations, rail sidings and city views.
Twelve tasks
To record the process that underpinned the deposit of the Crossrail Bill artist, Ian Cryer, was commissioned to produce twelve paintings of the various teams involved in the process.

He came to our studio in Clerkenwell to paint key project staff from both Hoop and Crossrail. The finished piece now hangs, with the other commissioned paintings, at Crossrail HQ.
