PepsiCo website launch »
Welcome news, a corporate website that embraces user centred design, web standards and strong navigational structure.
The days of one-way, one-channel corporate communication have gone but some companies still find it hard to give up bad habits. PepsiCo is not one of those companies.
New vision
About a year ago the UK corporate affairs team asked us to help them communicate a clear change in direction and integrate this message across all media.
Online strategy
We developed an integrated online strategy to place PepsiCo in the vanguard of web communcation and ahead of its competition.
Users come first
The new website has been created with the user front and centre. We worked with PepsiCo to identify who their audiences were, what their needs are now and may be in the future and how best to present the information they want to read.
Content control
We also designed a bespoke CMS to give PepsiCo control of content and to build new skills within the team.
New direction
The website is a key part of our work to align the PepsiCo brand with their new strategic direction.

Hello and goodbye »
It’s hello to new hoopster Matt Bailey and farewell to Hoop stalwart Joe Ortenzi.
Matt is joining to oversee the delivery of online projects and coordinate the growing development team. He brings a wealth of skills from his near decade at jobsgopublic.com, where he rapidly progressed from Web Developer to Head of Development.
Proven project manager
While there he not only introduced better coding practices and procedures but improved what the business offered through the use of the latest and most effective project management methods. These methods are known as Agile project management and are being adopted by organisations who understand the web.
Increasingly agile
He will be increasing the momentum started by our development team over the past year (lead by Joe) by introducing more Agile methods into the way we work.
Joe heads south
Joe has worked with us for 5 years and has been a driving force in putting Hoop where it is now. His enthusiasm, good humour under pressure, and terrible impression of Scottie from Star Trek will be sorely missed. He’s off to Oz and we wish him all the best.
